Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, Central Equatoria State has today received 50 mobility aids (Tricycles) from the Rotary Club of Juba.
The wooden Wheelchairs are said to have been imported from the United States to Benefit 50 registered people with physical disabilities.
At the handing over ceremony in Juba, the director of social welfare, Omar Sherefedin said that there are still many people with physical disabilities who need the support with mobility means to allow them carry out some activities for themselves.
Another director, Peter Abraham Samsari applauded the Rotary Club for the donation but urged other wishful partners to provide the ministry with Materials and tools for the ministry to be able to produce more wheelchairs to be given to more people.
